Late Birthday Celebration After Training 09/01/18

Since last week was a bit busy, I was only able to celebrate my birthday with my team today. I planned this out with my parents a few months ago and I’m glad it turned out well. The plan was to give my old/smaller running apparel (singlets, finisher shirts and shoes) that’s still in good condition to my teammates. Who inspired me to do this is Coach Titus because he loves to give away running shoes to deserving athletes and the reactions made by those athletes never fail to leave me in awe. The apparel that I could give was only so much because I’m a really thin girl considering the fact that that most of  my teammates wear clothes that are bigger than what I usually wear and that I also have non-female teammates. To compensate for the lack of variety of apparel, I asked help from my parents and they were also able to give out some of the apparel that they have. Luckily, I was able to get my hands on a Brooks Gift Certificate which I won during the Pinoy Fitness Kasama Run 2018. I used the GC to get a new pair of Brooks Running Shoes which I also gave away. In addition, I was able to get some more apparel from my mom’s sister. I was really happy to know  that I have made my teammates happy, but at the same time, I was also a little sad because not everyone got what they wanted. I really want to do this again and more often. Hopefully, if luck is on my side, I would soon be able to give what I can to more deserving people other than my teammates. Of course, I would’t be able to achieve any of this without anybody’s help, so if anybody wants to donate running apparel as long they’re in good condition, you may contact me via email at ( Whatever you donate will really inspire athletes and give them a better chance in doing the sport they love.
